Answer #1

Sound is a longitudinal wave. whenever someone speak it provide energy to the medium particles. by mean of which medium particle starts vibration. Sound wave is a longitudinal wave its mean the medium particles vibrate parallelerly to the propagation of wave. surrounding is not a perfect medium due to which sound waves countinous loses its energy as it moves further away.if someone speak loudly its mean it releases high amount of energy in the environment due to which medium particles vibrates with larger amplitude and sound wave travels long distance too.
If someone moves away from the source and observing the same intensity of sound wave its mean his surrounding air particles vibratings with the same amplitude as before.
