Trevor Lawrence throws a pass to hunter Renfrow with a velocity of 22.4 m/s, what is the final displacement of the football after 4 seconds? Use g=9.81
we had to make a question relating to football for a project. is this problem solvable? do i need to add something? if it is, please help!!! i got 78.4 m
is this problem solvable? I guess NO. Because if the ball's path is along the ground then you need to know the accelaration of the ball (we can not use value of g for accelaration if ball is travelling along the ground.)
But, As seen in common games when someone passes ball to another player, ball generally takes an ariel path. (like projectile) and in that case you must know the initial velocity and angle of projectile with which the ball is thrown.
And in that case you can use the following formula to find the maximum displacement along the horizontal ground.
or you can use concept of projectile to solve this type of questions.
