[5] ii) The engine of a ship of mass 2500 ton gets stopped when it travels at a speed of 16 km / h. The ship got drifted over a distance of 0. 5 km and reached the speed of 12 km / h. The decrease in speed was considered as uniform. a) Estimate the force which opposes the motion of ship. [2]
