S.3 a) A thin metal wire of 2x10-2 cm is placed along the axis of a thin cylindrical copper pipe with a diameter of 1.2 cm. Pipes and wires carry uniform but opposite loads of uniform size, measuring 2x10-8C / m, as well as λ = 2x10-8 C / m. Find the size of the electric field in the area between the pipe and the wire and the size of the electric field between the surface of the wire and the inner surface of the cylinder.
b)The charge density of a sphere is ρ = ρ0, a<r< for r <a and ρ = ρ0 (r-R)/(a-R) for R and ρ = 0 for r> r.Find the electric fields at these points by calculating the fluxes passing through the spherical surfaces at the distances r = a, r = R and r = 10R.Specify the directions of the fields.
