Please introduce me into how physics is correlated with a compressed-air paper rocket launch. What main ideas and vocab words can help explain a paper rocket. What needs to be taken into account. Introduce me into how ideas in physics can explain how a paper rocket would work?
Working of a compressed-air paper rocket:
Firstly pressurized air is filled inside a container( possibly using a bike pump) which is connected to a nozzle via a valve. the valve may be opened and closed (using an electric switch for more precision).
when opened, pressurized air move towards the low-pressure end( the nozzle) where our paper rocket is attached and provides an upward thrust at the bottom of the paper rocket and launches it in the air.
The height attained by the rocket depends on the pressure of the container, more the pressure gradient ( difference in Patm and Pcontainer) more will be the thrust force and higher the rocket will go.
Here is a fun video where you can learn a DIY project to make compressed air paper rocket.
