The atmosphere does not ordinarily crush cans. However, it will crush a can after it has been heated, capped, and cooled. Explain why this happens. Be sure to use complete sentences
The atmosphere doesn't ordinarily crush cans because the inner pressure of can is equal to the outer pressure by the atmosphere. But when the can is heated then the air inside the can will be evapourated. After that the can is capped because of which a vaccum is created inside that can. Now on cooling the inside pressure in can will also decrease. Therefore the atmosphere will start to crush the can because now the inside pressure in the can is lower than the atmospheric pressure.
