Science is based on logical reasoning and evidence to explain the facts, whereas beleifs, faiths feelings or guesswork cannot be supported by logical reasoning and experientation to prove that your faith is right.

For example you have faith in God , you beleive god exists and performs miracles, but these miracles are just events that take place due to some natural phenomenon. Example some people beleive that tsunami is the wrath of gods, but tsunami is due to the movement of the tectonic plates is proved scientifically .
