During your spacewalk to repair a defective orbiting telescope, you must generate a torque using a wrench to remove a screw. What do you need to do to accomplish this?
Torque is force times the perpendicular distance.
Here r can be the length of the wrench.
In the space, to apply a force along the end of the wrench to remove the bolt/screw we need to apply force in the direction opposite to the required force direction.
This is done by provding/releasing a compressed gas (Force =pressure x area) or thorwing another wrench oppsoite to the direction of unscrewing the bolt.
The other way is apply rotating force on the telescope to unscrew the bolt.
