1. Small weigh boats, representing plates, will be carried away from each other when floating in water that is over a heat source as a result of convective circulation.

2. Convective circulation will develop in the convection fluid when the bottle containing it is subjected to a heat source.

First of all we have to understand the meaning of conduction and convection.
Conduction is the process where heat transfer by the collision of molecules or free electrons.
That means there will be no motion of material simply it will remain at their place and heat will conduct through material.
For eg. Passing sweet in a row when one student is passing it to other while sitting on one place.
And In convection there is motion of the particles that means heat will be carried away for eq. flowing water taking heat from any heat source and passes away.
Hence convection is consist of conduction and advection made them convection.
Now in this hypothesis plates are carried away by water like heat in convection after taking heat from the heat source.
