proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proporional to the square of the distance

so the equation is using here is

F = G ( m₁ m₂ / r² )

where G = 6.67 X 10^-11 Nm² / kg²

here two scientists are Newton and Hooke also proposed nearly same.

so it proved theorem an the basis of calculation of G value

this is the reason why it is a theory and not just a hypothesis.
