Pi = m*Vi = 1kg*5m/s = 5kgm/s down the field
(b) what is the final momentum of the ball and its direction?
1kg*15m/s = 15kgm/s up the field
(c) what is the impulse acting on the ball?
Impulse equal change in momentum = 5 - (-15) = 20kgm/s = F*t
If "down the field" is positive then "up the field" is negative.
(d) with what force does Sammy kick the ball?
=> F = 20/0.5 = 40N
