inductor L = 0.2 H

frequency f = 120 Hz

the maximum voltage V = 235 V

(a) The impedance in the circuit

            Z = √ R^2 +XL^2

               = √ (215)^2 + (2πf L)^2

               = 262.61 Ω

therefore the current I = V/Z = 235 / 262.61 = 0.895 A

(b) The phase angle

              φ = tan^-1( XL/R) = 35.04 deg
