If the collision interaction delivers a total rightward impulse of 1.5 kg·m/s to the cart at rest, what is the velocity (magnitude and direction) of the originally moving cart after the collision is over? (Hint: Draw some arrows.)

2. A certain child's top consists of a uniform solid wooden sphere of radius R glued to the end of a wooden rod of length R and diameter 1/4R. Assume the sphere and rod have the same density. Where is this system's center of mass relative to the sphere's center ? (Express your result as a fraction or multiple of R.)
