A beam of polarized light with an average intensity of 17.0 W/m² is sent through a polarizer. The transmission axis makes an angle of 27.0° with respect to the direction of polarization. Determine the rms value of the magnetic field of the transmitted beam.

I = I0 cos^2(theta)
I = 17*cos(27)^2=13.50
I = c n e0 Erms^2
Erms = sqrt(13.50/(3E8*8.85E-12))=71.31 was wrong

Three polarizing disks whose planes are parallel and centred on common axis. The directions of their transmission axes relative to the vertical are respectively: θ1 = 15o, θ2 = 38o, and θ3 = 61o. A beam of light polarized along the vertical is incident onto the first polarizer with an intensity of I0 = 10 W/m². Calculate the transmitted intensity through all three polarizers. The answer is 6.7, but I am unable to get that.
