2- Does a magnetic force acting on the moving part of a circuit do work? Justify your statement with an example and the respective equations
In general we know that the electric current in the wire is due to flow of electric charges ( electrons) and the velocity of the electron in the presence of magnetic field is always perpendicular to applied magnetic field (B) . So the magnetic field usually do not do any work in the circuit. This is governing by the equation:-
Since v and B are perpendicular so
F=0
And we know that W=F.dr
So W=0
The work is generally done by electric force or electric field.
