What is greenhouse gas effect ? How does it relate to
Climate Change?
*Only a short answer, excess details not needed*
Greenhouse gas effect is natural warming process of earth due to sunlight. When sunlight enters earth's atmosphere some of it get reflected while other gets trapped in the atmosphere due to greenhouse gasses. These gasses are: carbon dioxide ( maximum part), methane , nitrous oxide and some fluoridated gases.
Due to increase in pollution from industries and vehicles, amount of natural carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases are increasing causing the planet earth to get warmer day by day , causing glaciers to melt and ice caps to melt. Thus increase in quantity of greenhouse gasses traps more sunlight and does not allow them to reflect back is causing the major climatic change in the world.
