capacitor charging is the simple concept of electrical interaction.

In the case of capacitor which is intially uncharged is placed in the circuit along with the battery then the capacitor is getting charging there is a generation of electric field between the plates of capacitor and it opposed the next further charging thats why the charging is exponentially increasing. due to the settling of charges on capacitor plates there is a change in potential between the plates this opposes the motion of further charges piling up to the plates. the capacitor is getting charged until the potential difference between the plates is equal to battery emf.
