Automobiles and trucks are often designed with a tapered ("aerodynamic") rather than a blunt front surface. Why is this? What does the tapered front accomplish? How important is it?

Answer #1

It is made tapered or aerodynamic shape because it will able to reduce the drag force
applied by the air.
When we make blunt surface drag force increases which lead to decrease the efficiency of the vehicle
whereas an aerodynamic shape helps in increasing the efficiency of vehicle.
It is too much important to made aerodynamic shape because in aerodynamic shape the wake angle is very less
which avoid drag and lift of the vehicle.
If we do not follow proper aerodynamic shape then due to large wake or lift vehicle can also leave the contact from
the ground.

1. Error Rate in Protein Synthesis It is often said that protein complexes are made from subunits (that is,individually synthesized proteins) rather than as one long protein because it is more likely to give a correct final structure. a. Assuming an error rate of 1/10,000, what fraction of bacterial ribosomes would be constituted correctly if the proteins were synthesized from one large protein versus assembled from individual proteins? For sake of calculation assume that the ribosome is composed of 50...

Problem Description Many recipes tend to be rather small, producing the fewest number of servings that are really possible with the included ingredients. Sometimes one will want to be able to scale those recipes upwards for serving larger groups. This program's task is to determine how much of each ingredient in a recipe will be required for a target party size. The first inputs to the program will be the recipe itself.
