Photoelectric effect:
Do all electrons ejected from the metal surface have the same kinetic energy? If so, why?
Is this important for the interpretation of this lab?
No , it is not necessary that all ejected electrons have same kinetic energy.
It is based on the probability of collision that occurs inside crystal with other electrons or ions or atoms.if any electron receives energy and immediately come out without getting scattering inside the crystal then that electron will have maximum kinetic energy . While those who scatters lot many times inside then during each time collision electron looses energy inside the crystal and when it comes out they will have less energy compare to those who collides lesser inside.
Hence energy of ejected electrons may have different energy.
