Hi

Answer #1

QCD: (Quantum Chromodynamics, QCD) is the gauge theory of the strong force associated with a gauge boson: The Gluon. The strong force holds quarks together in Hadrons , and holds protons and neutrons together in the atomic nucleus. This force is experienced by all particles that carry colour charge (namely both quarks and Gluons) (Term Chromodynamics related with color charge).

Jets: A jet is a narrow cone of hadrons and other particles produced by the hadronization of a quark or gluon in a particle physics or heavy ion experiment. Particles carrying a color charge, such as quarks, cannot exist in free form because of QCD confinement which only allows for colorless states.

Hi there, I'm working on ester nomenclature but I'm wondering why sometimes the ending is "-ate" and sometimes it's "-oate". For example, I have a problem with benzyl benzoate and cyclopropyl cyclohexanecarboxylate. Thank you!

This is not for an assignment, but for my own understanding and I was wondering if anyone would be able to assist me with understanding. Consider a non-trivial trajectory where the velocity & acceleration of some charged particle are non-zero. If i were wanting to plot the electric and magnetic field, how would I go about making the equation to do so? Would you be able to give me an example? If I wanted to convert a 2 dimensional plot...

So I need some clarification on something. How come sometimes physicist write some equations differently, for example: my professor today in class wrote the formula for the force of a spring like this ( F=-k deltax) but I know the equation is F=-kx. I have seen it also elsewhere on the equation W=PV people write it like W=PdeltaV. Why?

Hi, I know that if two matrices A and B are similar matrices then they must have the same eigenvalues with the same geometric and algebraic multiplicities. However, I was wondering if that statement was equivalent. In order terms, if two matrices have the same eigenvalues with the same algebraic multiplicities, must they be similar? What about geometric multiplicities?

The Russian physicist P. A.Čerenkov discovered that a charged particle traveling in a solid with a speed exceeding the speed of light in that material radiates electromagnetic radiation. (This phenomenon is analogous to the sonic boom produced by an aircraft moving faster than the speed of sound in air.) Čerenkov shared the 1958 Nobel Prize for this discovery. What is the minimum kinetic energy (in electronvolts) that an electron must have while traveling inside a slab of crown glass n...

hi , i have a question that im confusing about NMR, so if i discover my substance along the line of CxHyOz then how do i know whether it is (CxHyOz)1 or (CxHyOz)2~x ? I have a lab about NMR and IR, can anyone give me a techinque to analyze the chart ? Cause it looks so ugly. ( just some guidance, i want to do it myself first )
