A helium neon laser (633 nm) is shown through a very narrow single opening and creates a diffraction pattern.   Measuring difficulties result in a measurement from just outside the maximum to the left of the central maximum to the corresponding point on the right side of the central maximum.   This measurement is 4.4cm.   The pattern is displayed on a screen 2m from the opening.

What is the width of the opening?
