2. Water, solid paraffin wax, aluminum and iron have a densities of 1000 kg/m3, 900 kg/m3, 2700 kg/m3, and 7900 kg/m3 respectively. Consider three blocks each with a volume of 1 liter, one paraffin, one aluminum and one iron. When placed in a large swimming pool, how will the buoyant force on each block compare? Explain how you know. Repeat the question if instead of each block having a volume of 1 liter, each block has a mass of 1 kg.
