Snow - Snow forms when the temperature in the clouds is below freezing. If the temperatures are above the freezing point , the snow will quickly melt when it hits the ground .
Sleet - Sleet is a form of precipitation that occurs when rain or melted snow hits a cool packet of air above the ground
