The 4D tomography is the better imaging scanning technique. This scanning makes the images more clearer and faster as it captures the movement of the organs also. The scanning takes place as follows:

During the person lie down on his back and the the scanner spins around taking constant images and it only takes 30 seconds to complete the its whole body path. It captures the movement of the tumor, the breathing of the body and movement of the organs and how they get affected by the tumor. As the result the oncologist aims the radiation to the tumor according to the breathing intervals. Then repeated radiaton are aimed.
