based on what we know about speed and impedance of waves explain how changing the mass and the tension (both mass and tension) of a material increases or decreases its IMPEDANCE. dont reverse the relationship between speed and IMPEDANCE. please explain in detail. thank you
Solution:-
Let Impedence is Z and speed is v.
T is tension and m is mass of string .
so if tension increases impedence increases.
where k is spring constant.
so if mass increases impedence also increases but compare to tension less.
I hope you inderstand.
Thanks!
