Can the Flemming's Left and Right hand rules be used to solve problems relating to motor effect questions or is the right hand rules strictly for Dynamo effect questions?

Answer #1

Flemmig's left and right hand rule is very important to understand the functions of motor and generator/dynamo. Where, left hand rule is used for motor and right hand rule for generator. In a motor current and magnetic field already exist and to know the motion due to the force we need to use fleming's left hand law(as it is perfectly applicable on this problem). On the other hand, in case of a dynamo , motion and magnetic field already exist and to know the induced current we need to use flemming's right hand law (as it is perfectly applicable for this problem).

True or False If a non-terminal symbol appears at the end of the right-hand side of a rule, its Follow set contains the entire Follow set of the symbol on the left-hand-side of the rule. If a grammar has no Nullable non-terminals, the Follow sets can be ignored when computing the predict table. If A → BaBa is a rule and First(B) = {a}, then Predict(A,a) should contain A → BaBa. If no cell of the predict table for a...

Foot-Length: It has been claimed that, on average, right-handed people have a left foot that is larger than the right foot. Here we test this claim on a sample of 10 right-handed adults. The table below gives the left and right foot measurements in millimeters (mm). Test the claim at the 0.05 significance level. You may assume the sample of differences comes from a normally distributed population. Person Left Foot (x) Right Foot (y) difference (d = x − y)...

In Virginia, when the temperature falls to 300F, the probability that a citrus tree will show measurable damage is 0.10. A group of farmers think that the probability is much higher than 0.10. To test this they use a small orchard with 32 citrus trees as their sample.
