pls fill this table out for the question
Research Question |
How is current flow in a circuit impacted as more bulbs are added in series? |
Independent Variable (IV) |
|
Dependent Variable (DV) |
|
Control Variables (CV) |
|
Observed Outcome |
|
General Conclusion/Claim (specific to the research question) |
Independent Variable:
variable which is changed in the experiment. Here we are adding more bulbs (bulbs = resistors) so IV is bulb or resistors.
Dependent Variable:
Variable which changes on changing DV. Here current will change on changing number of bulbs. So Current is DV
Control Variable:
This is kepth constant throughout the experiment. Here we keep Voltage or potential difference constant. So it's a CV.
Observed outcome:
Adding more bulbs in series will increase the total resistance in the circuit. Since
Current = (Potential Difference) / (Total Resistance)
The current in the circuit will decrease.
Conclusion
The DV (current) is inversely proportional to the IV (number of bulbs)
