v=velocity of bullet=370m/s

Work done after hitting the block=

F=force applied by the bullet

s=distance moved by the block

since F and s are in same direction so W=Fs

now by conservation of energy

KE of bullet before hitting the block=Workdone by the block after hitting the bullet
