When the frequency of applied force matches with the natural frequency of the object (on which the force is applied), the resonance occures.

In resonance the object leads to large amplitude so that the energy of the vibrating object is very large.

The tides of Bay of Fundy are high due to the phenomenon of resonance.

The size of the Bay of Fundy is just match to the natureal gravitational push cycle of Moon. Due to which the flow of water is in and out of the Bay and the result is ocean tides which is caused by the gravitational force of Moon.
