Spectroscope: Explain what problems are associated with studying distant stars?
In our neighborhood galaxies most of the stars in them formed billions of year ago in present time they produce very less number of stars.
So when we are looking at the light coming from a distant star which is billions of light year away from us then we are actually looking in the past of star Because light reaching from that star to us travellled for billion years. Due to which we can't predict if that star exist in universe or not s after all stars have a fix life span depending on there size and mass. So this is a major drawback in our study of distant stars.
So take a example of seven stars in our sky everyday we look at them light reaching in our eye from them travellled a 444 light year. So that means we are looking at the image of stars 444years back from present.
