Turning or drilling machines with irregularly sharpened or chiseled tools consume more electricity. Why?
Well, see if the drilling bit is sharpend perfectly then it will easily make holes in our wall or wood but suppose if it is not sarpened perfectly then we have to apply some force to make the bit go inside our material and that force will try to restrict the movement or turning of bit so to make the bit moving continuously more power will be consumed by the power supply. Same thing occurs for chiseled tools.
