Answer #1

first of all, we must be aware about the two tyep of flow prevalent in the water streams that is " Laminar " and "Turbulent". the laminar flow is where the flow of particles is smooth , which means the motion between the different layers is smooth and regular , whereas turbulent is the region where the flow is irregular and the tendancy of whirlpool is more in this region.

so, from the above discussion , it is clear that it is always safe and convenient to travel in the region of laminar flow.

Thus, we can conclude that, it is wise to travel near the shore during the upstream canoeing where the flow is laminar and wise to travel in the middle while cannoening downstream where flow is laminar.

1. Dynamics and artificial gravity. The space station has two thrusters pointed in opposite directions. They operate by expelling propellant at high speed. The effect is that there is a force of magnitude F0 on the two ends of the space station in opposite directions, which causes the entire object to start rotating. The thrusters will stop firing when the artificial gravity created on the space station (described below) reaches the required value. Upward force, magnitude F0 Downward force, magnitude...

Viruses are surrounded by a capsid, not a cell membrane. They interact with their environment to acquire and use energy. Some viruses use DNA as their genetic material; others use RNA. The heritable characteristics of viruses can change over time. Viruses do not make their own proteins – they don't have their own protein synthesizing platforms so they use a host cell’s machinery to make their proteins. Given all of this information, would you characterize viruses as living or non-living?...
