What is the purpose of the Density of air experiment?

Density is important because it affects whether objects will float or sink. It is an important property to consider when building things like ships and hot air balloons. so, we go to calculate the density of air, by knowing this, we can determine on the materials which we can send in the air, relative density, more denser objects/materials are always below the objects with less density, so, this helps a lot in Aerodynamics

Also, the coating of the aeroplanes also require this data i.e with what materials it must be coated

in many essential things, it is required.

Air resistance is calculated with this value only, which had a great impact on rocket science.

there are still many other uses of knowing/experimenting on the density of air.
