(a) Estimate the root mean square force per unit length on the wiring in a typical house due to the Earth’s magnetic field, assuming the wires are perpendicular to the field. The wires may carry AC currents of 10 amperes or so.

(b) What effect does it have that the wires are actually oriented at odd angles to the field?

if is odd multiples of degree the force per unit length is maximum

if is 0 degree the force per unit length is 0

if is 0 to degree the force per unit length is inbetween 0 to BI_rms

im assuming odd angles means at different angles, if it is not what it meant please comment me so that i will update , thanks
