Answer #1

Ans.

1. The light that we see coming from the sun is just a part of what it is emitting from the sun.

2. Our eyes have limitation, we cannot see by naked eyes other than visible light.

3. Light is a form of energy, and we consider it as a wave ( something that propogates) and the scientist has given it the name as Electromagnetic wave that are propagated by simultaneous periodic variations of electric and magnetic field intensity and that include radios wave, infrared, visible light, ultraviolet, X-rays, and gamma rays.

4.  All the above electromagnetic wave have different wavelength but about the same velocity (3*10^8m/s) to travel.

5.  All the above wave in a combined form is called electromagnetic spectrum, in which they kept side by side with each other with increasing or decreasing order of their wavelength.
