Acceleration of the lift in downward direction, a= 1m/s2

(This will be the net acceleration as with this acceleration only lift is coming downwards)

Acceleration due to gravity, g= 9.8 m/s2

Mass of the person, m= 60kg

Then If the normal Force that the floor of the elevator exerts on the person is "T" then using Newton's Laws of Motion and Balance of forces we'll get

    (Since net motion is downwards and Normal force acts in upward direction)
