When left-handed circularly polarized light is reflected off from a mirror, does it retain its left-handed circular polarization or does it become right-handed circular polarized?
Design an experiment to verify whether the handedness switches or not.
Put a Quarter wave plate in between light source and mirror. QWP will convert the left handed polarised into a linear polarizied light with axis about 45 with horizontal and place a polariser in between qwp and mirror with axis same as of liner polarised light than light reflected from mirror you will observe no transmission from polariser which confirms that axis of polarisation is rotated with 90 degree which confirms that light will change by LH polariser to right handed polariser.
