One stone is thrown in a direction 25.0° above the horizontal with a speed of 12.0 m/s ; the other is thrown in a direction 25.0° below the horizontal with the same speed. 2- maximum height.

Time of flight will be different for both the stones as the stone thrown at 25 degree below the horizontal will reach the ground before the other stone .

Maximum height of the stone thrown at 25 degree above horizontal will be greater than the other stone .

The range will be same for both the stones because range depends upon the horizontal component of initial velocity, which is same for both stone i.e u cos 25 = 12 cos 25 = 10.87 m/s

Final velocity for both stones before hitting ground will be same , which is due to the conservation of energy
