A vibrating object has fundamental frequency, harmonic frequency and inharmonic frequency. Fundamental frequency is minimum resonant frequency and harmonic frequency is integer (whole) multiple of fundamental frequency. Inharmonicity is degree by which frequency is depart from integer multiple of fundamental frequency. Overtones are resonant frequency greater than fundamental frequency. If overtone is integer multiple of fundamental frequency then it is harmonic otherwise it is inharmonic.

FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) is a process to transform signal from time domain to frequency domain. It is useful in mixed vibrational analysis to identify the violent frequency in a mixture.
