Can someone explain/give me examples of:

Quantitative problems

1. Circuit with a capacitors and resistor (charging and discharging), and/or an inductor and
a resistor.
2. Kirchhoff problem.
3. Force and maybe torque on a wire in a magnetic field.
4. AC circuit problem with transformers, root mean square quantities, and power.
5. AC circuits problem finding complex impedance, phase, and resonance.

Qualitative problems

1. LC circuits, energy conservation, spring-mass comparison.
2. Fields, electric and magnetic. What do they mean, why are the useful, and when do
they produce force.
3. Maxwell’s equations. What are the sources of fields, and how do fields interact.
4. LRC circuits. Describe the three cases and damped oscillator analogy.
5. Discuss the underlying conservation laws for the Kirchhoff rules.
