Whenever the wave or pulse id reflected from a free boundary it is same as the original wave.
There are two types of boundary free and fixed, suppose wave is travelling in a rope if we fix the other end or hold the other by hand then it is fixed boundary condition problem.
But if we keep the rope on the floor then it is free boundary condition problem.
For a rope with free boundary there is no change in the reflected wave it is same as the original wave not inverted.
