The lift co-efficient of an airfoil varies as follows:

In order to obtain the slope of lift curve slope first perform the wind-tunnel experiment having the airfoil in the test section at various angles of attacks and obtaining the lift coefficient and plotting them simultaneously.

Now that we have obtained a graph as above we determine its slope by taking two points before stall and finding the slope manually:
