If some volume of the gas is left at any time in the pressure sensor or the base of the syringe then for the next successive experiment the amount of subtace will reduce by that volume as a result the pressure will increase because as per the Idol gas equation

n = number of moles of the substance

T= temperature of the substance

P = (nRT / V)
