when a magnet is moving near a solenoid , the magnetic flux through the solenoid changes ,according to Faraday's law

due to this change in magnetic flux , an electric field is induced which results in development of voltage across a solenoid.

for the speed of magnet , as the rate of change of flux will increase if the speed of magnet is increasing , hence , the induced emf will also increase

turning the magnet upside down does not change the magnitude of flux through the solenoid , hence , it does not affect the magnitude of voltage , just changes the polarity of the voltage
