Driving along a crowded freeway, you notice that it takes a time to go from one mile marker to the next. When you increase your speed by 7.6 mi/h, the time to go one mile decreases by 15 s. What was the original speed? ---- please work out so I can understand.. thank you

You took15s( we convert it to hours) more at original speed. So we find the time you take at 7.6 mi/h and add 15 s to get the time you took at original speed. Then original speed = 1 mile/original time.
