Everyone learns a little differently. This means that what learning resource works for one person may not work for another person. Some people prefer to read a textbook to learn. Each author's approach is different and their writing style is different as well, so you have to choose the text that you best understand. Others prefer to hear a teacher talking and see animations. The best resource is what works best for you.

Gere & Timoshenko (Authors)
Gere & Goodno.(Authors)

And overall, I think ‘Gere & Timoshenko’ is the second best book for clearing the concepts.but, Obviously the best is ‘Gere and Goodno’.
