Ans.a) At home the suit was in presence of light which has all the seven components i.e. white light. So, the suit reflected the colour which it could not absorb i.e. blue colour.

b) At the tailor's shop the lighting there might have caused the suit to look black. The lighting in the tailor's shop might be such that there was no blue colour component in the light at the tailor's shop. So the blue colour will not be reflected this time. And hence the suit would look black.

c) The person was not able to notice the difference because of the lighting in the shop.
