An airplane with a ground speed of 550 km/hr travels along a heading of 30 degrees N of W. At that high altitude there is a powerful 210 km/hr wind (known as the jet stream) 40 degrees south of west. Determine the direction that the pilot is aiming the plane.

The answer key says that the pilot must point 52.4 degrees NofW.

A high altitude jet airplane has a velocity relative to the air of 320 m/s due west. At a certain moment, the pilot notices a mountain peak directly west of the plane at a horizontal distance of 4.20 km. 10 s later, the peak is observed to be a horizontal distance 4.18 km away in a direction 17?north of west.
