the mercury in the left arm goes down a distance h while the mercury in the right arm goes up a distance h..so total distance is 2h

wghw = mg 2hm

cancel 'g' on both sides

hm = (w / 2m) * hw

hm = ( 1000 / 2 * 13600 ) * 16.6

hm = 0.61 cm

or

hm = 6.1 mm
