Answer these three question with use of Faraday's law of induction:
1-a plane closed loop is placed in a uniform magnetic field, In what ways can the loop be moved without inducing an emf? consider motions both of translation and rotation.
2- an air liner is crusing in level flight over alaske, were earth's magnetic field has a large downward component. which of its wingtips ( right or left) has more electrons than the other?
3-a copper ring and a wooden ring of the same dimensions are placed so that there is the same changing magnetic flux through each. Compare the iduced electric fields in the two rings.
According to Faraday's law of induction " An induced emf will develope in conducting coil, when it cuts the flux of magnetic field in motion"
1. If A plane closed loop is placed in a uniform magnetic field and field direction is in Y - Axis and moving the loop along Y - in translation or rotation motion by placing plane of the loop in along XY pane or YZ plane then no inducing an emf will be generated. Because in this planes the loop will be parallel to field direction.
2. In an air line flight, more number of electrons in wing depends on the rotation of the wing.
3. When a copper ring and a wooden ring of the same dimensions are placed in the same changing magnetic flux through then an induced electric field will develope in only copper ring and not in wooden ring as it is insulator, because induced emf will depends on the electrical conductivity of material.
